Website navigation redesign

Maria Lager is an established Swedish artist. She uses her website to display current work, upcoming exhibitions, and provide contact details. I redesigned the navigation and cleaned up the page. This was a short project and I designed it directly in Marias website builder, hosted by one.com.
My role

Problem

The desktop navigation feels outdated and important information is hidden under the fold on smaller screens.

Marias wishes

Maria wants to keep the navigation on the side and she likes a simple minimalistic design.

"I like it simple" - Maria

Platform limitations

The website is built with one.com. The web version can be edited quite freely, but they have an automatic responsive mode for mobile and only a limited set of fonts.
